Effective governance is framed by the purpose for which an organization was created and is therefore concerned with activities of the highest-level including goal setting, policy development and monitoring progress toward and alignment with governance objectives.  The consultants will assist the leadership team in identifying three to five goals which will become the focus of a long-range plan.

Once the goals have been established, an implementation plan for the accomplishment of the identified goals will be developed.


The implementation plan will include:

  • major objectives

  • specific tasks

  • timelines with target dates

  • needed resources,

  • individual or groups responsible for implementation

  • evaluation procedures


At the conclusion of the workshop, the leadership team will have identified long-range goals and have the foundation and structure of an implementation plan in place.
